Little babies are not so little anymore!

THE WINNER OF OUR SEAHORSE BRACELET GIVE AWAY IS LORI G! Our little (not so little anymore) baby picked the winner out of her toy bucket yesterday evening! Lori we will be sending the seahorse bracelet your way soon!

We have lots going on on the seahorse ranch...

Some of our "little" babies have turned into big babies!

One of these guys has been moved over to a batch of smaller babies so he can teach them how to eat frozen food :) He sure is a trooper for babysitting all those little guys!

THEN, there is this little guy, no, he is not a baby. He is a full grown adult but he is a dwarf! If you look very closely three of his babies are around him. These are the only seahorses you can raise in the same tank as their parents because they all eat the same food. These guys are too cool and I am so excited to have more! They dont get any cuter than this! Some of the babies look like they will be pink too, my favorite color! :)

There is lots of winning! going on here at the seahorse ranch!

We would first like to announce the winner of our weekly T-shirt giveaway, Vicki P is the winner this week! (Vicki please send your address and information to and we will send a T-shirt your way!)

We will do another drawing next week on the 22nd for one more T-shirt so be sure to leave a comment on one of our posts. Then on the 29th we will be drawing a name of one of our followers to win the seahorse bracelet!

I think this guy definitely thinks his is winning!, 2 days after this picture was taken last week he finally had his babies! I think I know exactly how he felt! He had one of the largest bellies we had ever seen for a seahorse his size and it just got larger in the days following! I think he's feeling much better now and all of his little babies are doing awesome!

We are happy to say that three of our juveniles are winning! as well! They found a great new home in Ohio this morning and I know they are going to be as happy as can be!

It is so wonderful to know they will be loved and taken care of!

We are working on a fun post "A day on the seahorse ranch," we cant wait to share it with you!

Thanks for visiting everyone, we will see you soon!

They truly are out-of-this-world!

What a truly out-of-this-world creature, look at those crowns they wear so proudly!

The ancient Greeks and Romans couldn't find a explanation for the astonishing creatures they found washed up on their beaches.  Because these fish had the head of a horse,  a suit of armor plating and wore a crown atop their head they could only be one thing, mythological.

The ancients believed that in the deep these creatures grew to the size of real horses and pulled the chariots of Neptune. What a magical thought :)

DON'T FORGET to become a follower to enter our end of the month give away of this beautiful seahorse bracelet!

Thanks for visiting!

Check it out!

Our first seahorses are up for sale on our website and we are so excited! Here is just a sneak peek of a couple of our seahorses, head over to our website to see the first batch thats ready to go!

One of our smaller girls, she is too cute!

This gal has a great silver pattern, I love it!

This girl is by far my favorite, she has quite a personality and she is so beautiful!

This pair is already flirting like crazy, I have a feeling some beautiful little babies are in their future!

Our poor little baby is still fighting a double ear infection and a yucky, yucky cold so things are still getting done very slowly but I will be back soon!
